Warranty FAQs
If my roof is fully replaced after storm damage, does the manufacturer warranty start over?
Yes. A full replacement is treated as a new installation, which means it qualifies for the same manufacturer warranty terms as any other new roof, registered fresh from the date the replacement is completed rather than carrying over any prior coverage.
Does emergency tarping after a storm affect my manufacturer warranty?
No. Temporary tarping is meant to prevent further damage while a permanent repair or replacement is scheduled, and it does not count as part of the actual roofing system, so it has no impact on manufacturer warranty terms either way.
How do I know if storm damage qualifies for the 10 year replacement warranty or the 1 year repair warranty?
That depends on the scope of work performed, not the storm itself. A full roof replacement falls under the 10 year warranty, while an isolated repair falls under the 1 year warranty, and we will tell you clearly which one applies before any work begins.
Claim Support
Insurance Claim Support
How Level Supports Your Claim
Storm damage often means a stressful insurance process on top of it. Level Roofing supports you through the claims process to make it as simple as possible.
First off, we document every detail with thorough photo reports. Next, we stand beside you during your adjuster inspection to ensure a fair and transparent discussion. For harder cases, we bring in experienced insurance litigation attorneys and vetted public adjusters to give you the best chance of getting the money you deserve.

Insurance Claim FAQs
Does insurance cover storm restoration?
Usually, yes, if the damage is tied to a specific storm event rather than gradual wear.
What if my storm damage claim gets denied?
A denial is not always final, more documentation often resolves it through a supplemental claim.
Do I need a public adjuster for storm damage?
Not always, though one can help if your claim becomes disputed or complex.
Need to Finance Your Roof Replacement?
Not every roofing project is eligible for insurance. That’s why Level Roofing has partnered with some of the nation’s leading lenders to offer fair and transparent financing plans.
General FAQs
What should I do immediately after a storm, before you arrive?
Your safety comes first, so avoid getting on the roof yourself, especially if it is wet or you can see visible structural damage. If it is safe to do so, take photos of any damage from the ground for your own records. Moving valuables away from any active leaks inside the home can help limit additional damage while you wait for a professional assessment and temporary protection to be put in place.
How quickly can you respond after a major storm hits the area?
Response times can vary depending on how widespread the storm damage is across the region. That said, we prioritize based on severity, and homes with active leaks or significant structural exposure are moved to the front of the line.
Do you handle minor storm damage, or only severe cases?
Both. Storm restoration covers everything from a handful of lifted shingles to a roof that needs a complete replacement, and the scope of the damage determines the scope of the work. We assess what happened to your specific roof without making any assumptions. Some roof damage is easily missed if a contractor is rushed or inexperienced.
